Rocksprings Medical Clinic offers a wide range of diagnostic tests to assist with the development of your wellness or treatment plan. Services may be provided in the clinic or at Kimble Hospital.
If you are covered by Medicare, you are eligible for a free Annual Medicare Wellness Visit to talk with your provider about ways to improve your health and prevent disease. The Annual Wellness Visit is not the same as an annual physical exam, but it does provide patients with the same opportunity to talk with their provider about health concerns and to develop a plan in partnership with those providers to focus on health, rather than illness.
Some of the services covered during an Annual Wellness Visit include: routine measurements such as weight, height and blood pressure; review of your individual and family medical history, review of your current medications, discussion of the care you receive from other providers, and review of your functional ability and level of safety. Based on this review, you and your provider will develop a health promotion and disease prevention plan based on your specific needs.
After your initial wellness visit, you are eligible for a follow-up or subsequent wellness visit every 12 months.
